:wow:

i like the effect! and now, we are not sick of it yet, until it stops having you in it. then it gets tiresome. ;)

i take it that is you positioning the camera oh just so, so that it gets a partial sunflare, or did you PS that in? either way, like i said, i really like it.

:) first post on one of your devs! yay!

could you explain teh titlez? i don't think i get the "broke" part. what's broken?

hahah it's 'bokeh', which is a 'style' of capturing a photo in which parts of it are very blurred and others are crisp. So basically you are using a larger aperature to focus on one thing as opposed to the whole scene. Bokeh is often used in terms of lighting photos like this, where the lights are blurred and become large circles to create effect :D

heheh aww anddd ahm it's photoshopped ;) heheh shhhhh!

oh ok i don't KNOW you used PS. it was just the language you used in you comment. made me think you inserted it after the shot. i would have believed you if you have said it was natural.

i wanna learn the whole photography thing, but wouldn't start w/o some sort of DSLR, cause I'd wanna shot RAW and go straight into PS with it. i might take a course for it next semester though. i hope it's not "this a camera. point it at things you want it take pictures of. press this button." i'm not a moron. but the course is titled "introduction to digital photography", and is some requirement before digital phography I. (sigh) g2g l8 4 class. cu!

Life is good......no i'm serious......hey stop laughing!!

Ok, I'm lying!!

I was actually taught that this kind of photography was called "selective subject", of course I'm translating as I was taught in Spanish. But it's basically that, open aperture and focus on one object and the rest is blured.

Oh.. how I miss film photography! oh and by the way... I think I've already said this but... I'll never get tired of seen you! In fact keep throwing them!! ;)

Ah, so you raised the aperture to narrow your depth of field ;-)
But, ehm, enough shop-talk.

Great shot, I just wish I knew how to get someone to throw me that pose.
I never got past [link] and that was with a lot of, ehm, coaching. (Apparently, she's scared of camera's).

I get another shot at this next tuesday at Christmas Dinner...
